Hot on the heels of the return of Chris Holmes and the rising of W.A.S.P. from the ashes came this double live album, recorded on the K.F.D tour through Double Live Assassins brilliantly captures the band live and in their element. The album, while containing quite a few songs from the latest album, still covers material covering the band's entire career, and while it is not a definitive.

W.A.S.P. attempted to regain the outrageous offensiveness of their early-'80s records with their comeback album, K.F.D. While the band sounds surprisingly vigorous on the record, their blood-and-sex shtick entered the realm of self-parody ten years before the release of K.F.D., which makes the album of interest only to longtime fans.5/

K.F.D. is one of W.A.S.P.'s most controversial albums. This was released smack dab in the middle of the nineties and is definitely the band's attempt to reinvent their sound and image. Way more so than even Kreator did, W.A.S.P. go full industrial on this album.
