LIFEHOUSE DEMOS. Album: Lifehouse Demos LPs (vinyl) Sampled: Master Room USA LP Comments: Excellent Sound with the usual acetate issues. Summary: This 2 LP acetate set appears to be the master source for "The Genius Of Pete Townshend" bootleg LP. LIFEHOUSE CHRONICLES, available exclusively on Pete Townshend's e-commerce site, is an expansive documentation of the composer's lost dream child, "Lifehouse". It works mainly because of its length, at 6 discs - two containing demos, two containing new revisions of old songs, and two containing a BBC radio play/5(39).

Disc three is entitled: "Lifehouse Themes and Experiments" and contains many "Baba" variations such as "Baba M1" "Baba M2" & "Vivaldi ~ Baba M5" that are great synthesiser experimental pieces that show that Pete was looking towards the future and electronic music as it's core center/5(8).

The other parts of the song appeared on the third disc of Townshend's Lifehouse Chronicles as "Baba M1 (O'Riley 1st Movement )" and "Baba M2 (2nd Movement Part 1 )". Dave Arbus, whose band East of Eden was recording in the same studio, was invited by Keith Moon to play on the coda of track.

Lifehouse Chronicles is a box set released in by Pete Townshend with the focus of the box being the formerly "abandoned" Lifehouse rock opera. The set contains song demos by Pete Townshend; including solo versions of " Baba O'Riley ", " Won't Get Fooled Again ", and " Who Are You ", and the Lifehouse Radio Program.
