    Eigentlich sollte Max Greger die Metzgerei seiner Eltern in München übernehmen. Doch anscheinend ist Gott ein riesiger Jazzfan und brachte Gregers Großvater dazu, seinem Enkel ein Akkordeon zu schenken und damit die Basis für die nachfolgende Karriere Gregers zu legen. In einer Akkordeon-Gruppe kam Greger dem Instrument näher und beschloss als 18Jähriger, sich der Musik komplett zu widmen.
