The deluxe set contains three very good older songs, but seem out of step with the album’s theme. Barry Gibb has been a song-writing machine and successful recording artist for decades and this album proves that he has probably reached his peak with twelve songs that cover all the emotional and musical bases. This album is a keeper/5().

In the Now is the second solo album by British singer-songwriter Barry Gibb, released on 7 October by Columbia Records. Although his second solo album (since 's Now Voyager), it is the first of all new material since the Bee Gees' final studio album This Is Where I Came In (). Gibb said of the album: "This is a dream come true for me. It's a new chapter in my life.

“End of the Rainbow” would become the seed of a new album, and a new realization, for Gibb. “Robin had always been a desperate solo artist,” he says. “And now, I can see that we all were.

An absolutely beautiful album. Barry Gibb shows his pedigree in the songs on this album. A truly amazing singer/songwriter. The songs are beautiful and some so sad. I hope this is the first of many solo albums. I loved the Bee Gees and I love Barry’s first solo album. Would strongly recommend/5().
